Accounting Technician in Rockville, Maryland at Mount Calvary Baptist Church

Prepares financial reports to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, tax
liabilities, and other related financial activities. Reports to the Church Administrator and works closely with the Chairs of the Trustee and Finance Boards to support the management of fiduciary responsibilities. Works in collaboration with the Church Treasurer. Required Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accounting principles.
Proficient with accounting software and reporting document.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
POSITION INFORMATION: Full-time position. Eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and for Retirement Plan. Not eligible for overtime pay. At-Will Employment
