About This Position

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the medical office. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferredFamiliarity with medical terminology and proceduresProficient in using office software and electronic medical records systemsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet and check-in patients upon arrival at the medical officeSchedule and confirm patient appointments, both in-person and over the phoneCollect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details and will also collect payments for servicesAssist with medical administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and record keepingCoordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessaryAnswer patient inquiries and provide information about services offeredEnsure a clean and organized reception areaAssumes other duties as assignedPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
