We are presently searching for our next great team member as a Lift Operations Supervisor to join our Alpine Operations team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)
* Assign daily duties of lift operators.
* Prepare and submit operation and progress reports for the management team.
* Train and supervise lift operators in all duties and safety procedures in accordance with WorkSafeBC and Technical Safety BC standards.
* Investigate, raise, and submit necessary Technical Safety BC incident forms.
* General labor including but not limited to snow removal, maintenance, grooming, carrying equipment over 40 lb.
* Assist and coordinate parking operations in conjunction with the Parking & Grounds team.
* Oversee daily set up and take down of lifts.
* Establish and maintain health and safety procedures for lift operators.
* Answering guests’ queries on the resort, giving recommendations for ski runs, and providing general advice.
* May perform duties of lift operators and maintenance workers where required.
* Other task as required.
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
* 2 years of supervisory experience; ideally supervising a large team (20 - 30 team members).
* Able to work in a high-paced environment as both an individual and team player.
* Ability to work outdoors and in all weather conditions.
* Strong customer service skills; displaying empathy to guests’ needs.
* Advanced Skiing/Snowboarding Skills, must be able to ski/ride in all snow/weather conditions.
* Minimum 2 years experience with passenger ropeways preferred.
* Lift 150 training course provided by SELKIRK College is an asset.
* Previous operation of snowmobiles and/or ATVs is an asset.
* Ski Resort Management certification is considered an asset.
* OFA Advanced certification is considered an asset.
* Knowledge of Manning Park and surrounding area (or intent to learn)
Closing Date: August 15, 2026
This is a seasonal position; you must be able to commit to the role for the full winter season (November-April).
