Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC) is a non-profit organization and one of the largest Hispanic Community Development Corporations in the United States. Founded in 1969, CPLC empowers individuals through health & human services, housing, education, and economic development.

As part of our Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) team, you’ll join a program dedicated to promoting the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied children, and other eligible individuals and families through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based care.

You’ll be a Case Manager providing direct support to youth and families during one of the most critical times of their lives.

• Develop and submit service plans and assessments to build comprehensive case files.

• Coordinate services and advocate for youth needs to ensure safety, stability, and well-being.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with ORR standards and requirements.

• Collaborate closely with team members and external partners to facilitate smooth service delivery.

• Maintain flexibility and readiness to work extended hours, weekends, and on-call as needed to support program goals.

You are compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to making a difference. You thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and can balance empathy with accountability.

You bring:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of case management experience, preferably with children or refugee populations. 

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills to connect deeply with those you serve.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management tools.

• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to drive for program-related services.

• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends.

• Cleared background check, TB test, and (for Texas programs) drug test results.

• Must be 21 years of age or older and meet company insurability standards.
