About This Position
CPLC manages the Hummingbird Project for unaccompanied minors in need of culturally competent whole wellness care. CPLC has 53 years of demonstrated quality experience serving the community as a high-trust organization. Each minor in our care receives case management, education, healthcare, and legal services in a trauma-informed system.
The Hummingbird team is now hiring for Case Managers to fill the following shifts:

Tues-Sat, 2pm-10pm

Sun-Thurs, 2pm-10pm
POSITION SUMMARY
The Case Manager is responsible for the submission of service plans and other assessments required for the compiling of a comprehensive case file. The Case Manager is required to maintain a flexible, organized and efficient work schedule and is subject to work extended hours, weekends, and be on-call.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling or other social service field.
- 2-year experience preferred working with adolescents or in the youth services field. (volunteer and internship experienced included)
- Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Word Perfect, Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license and be eligible to drive to facilitate program services as required by contractual agreement.
- Required to work a flexible schedule to facilitate program services.
- Cleared Tuberculosis test results.
- Cleared background check from appropriate entity.
- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Cleared drug test results (this one is for Texas programs only).
- Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
