JOB SUMMARY:
We're seeking line cooks who share a passion for food, have a strong work ethic and play well as a team. Redheaded Stranger is a neighborhood taco shop in East Nashville opened by the creators of Butcher & Bee. We feature fresh and delicious tacos on housemade tortillas, brisket, hatch green chiles, and other craveable Southwestern inspired foods. Line cooks at Redheaded Stranger are responsible for final prep for service, setting up and working their assigned station, and closing/cleaning properly. The ideal candidate must be consistent and possess the ability to prioritize and follow direction. Success is based on being a great team player, having strong organizational skills and a passion for creating excellent food.
REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas)
- Solid understanding of fundamentals of cooking and knife skills
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling best practices
- Constant standing, walking, stopping
- Occasional kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing ladders, and carrying of up to 50lbs

Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour after tips. Hourly rates vary by experience, starting $15-$18 per hour
