Senior Staff Accountant
Summary:
The Senior Staff Accountant assists in the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. This role reports to the Accounting Manager.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing various entities in QuickBooks
- Research and provide recommendations on new software solutions to support business needs
- Assist with preparation and review of W-2’s, W-3’s and annual reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation and review of general ledger account reconciliations
- Provide support for multiple external audits, which include financial, ESOP, 401k and insurance
- Streamline OCIP/CCIP reporting and policy management
- Help support overall team development including developing SOP’s within the department
- Adheres to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
This position is available in either Mansfield or Columbus, and occasional travel between these offices may be required.

Senior Staff Accountant
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or five years of equivalent work experience
- Minimum of five years of accounting experience
- Construction accounting experience preferred
- Experience using a PC (Microsoft Suite, Adobe, Vista by Viewpoint a plus)
- Must be detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
