About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeper to support our housekeeping team in ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and organization. As an integral part of the Housekeeping Department, you will contribute to creating a welcoming and immaculate environment for our guests and staff. This is an hourly, full-time position requiring a proactive, reliable, and efficient individual who takes pride in their work.

What You'll Do

• Assist in daily cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas, including rooms, public spaces, and offices.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly used and maintained.
• Monitor and restock housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Perform detailed inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager promptly.
• Provide support to other housekeeping staff during high-demand periods.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and sanitation regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Prior experience in housekeeping or a related role is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Good physical stamina; ability to stand, walk, and lift objects during shifts.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
