About This Position
We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various aspects of HR practices and processes within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with all processes from recruiting, new hire on-boarding, benefits enrollment and orientations, employee engagement, retention, all the way through employee departure.
Assist with Employee Relations and communication or administration of new policies or handbook revisions.
Design and Delivery of staff training programs,including safety and customer service training.
Review and update job descriptions while coordinating annual performance goals and monitor metrics, participating in all performance related discussions and reviews.
Strengthen employee culture and drive employee engagement to always focus on teamwork and methods to improve processes that result in increased productivity and efficiency.
Revise and/or record all job descriptions, reviews, internal collaborative training committees along with approving/monitoring outside approved schooling and training.
Project management of road map tasks with weekly updates of progress/accountability including the leadership team, reporting directly to CEO.
Assist leadership with the planning of all company meetings and events.
Track PTO for employees and maintain office-wide shared calendar.
Safety/OSHA documentation and compliance coordination and tracking.
Mandatory Training highlights
Gain understanding of our product lines and staffing needs
Metrics
Updated handbook with revised/approved policies with employee sign-off
Documented performance metrics/goals for employees
Requirements:
3+ years prior HR experience
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power point)
Willing and able to work onsite in our Barrington location, full-time.
Persuasive communication skills; both written and verbal
Great at building relationships and engaging others to foster teamwork.
Be an effective change agent, yet approachable and friendly.
Organizational Development experience is a plus.
Qualifications:- Proven experience in HR roles with a focus on diverse HR functions- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity- Demonstrated expertise in benefits administration and compliance- Proficiency in organization design principles and implementation

Pay: $60,000-70,000 per year
