Academie Lafayette is seeking reliable, enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to join our on-call pool. Substitutes play a vital role in maintaining continuity of instruction and a positive learning environment when classroom teachers are absent. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow lesson plans and instructions left by the classroom teacher
• Maintain a safe, structured, and respectful classroom environment
• Take accurate attendance and follow all school procedures
• Communicate any relevant observations or concerns to school administration at the end of the day
• Uphold Academie Lafayette's culture and expectations for student conduct

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate (required)
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Prior experience working with K-8 students preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to different grade levels and subject areas
• Punctual, professional, and dependable
• Able and willing to pass finger printing and Family Safe Care Registry screening
