Global Relationship Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global Relationship Manager based in Canada.

This role is focused on building strategic relationships and translating business opportunities into sustainable growth. You will partner closely with Sales, Operations, Digital, and senior leadership to develop go-to-market strategies and strengthen client value. The position combines relationship management, business consulting, data strategy, market analysis, and operational transformation. You will help identify new opportunities, support deal conversion, and turn high-level strategies into executable plans. The role also offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional initiatives, improve processes, and introduce automation to drive efficiency. You will mentor a motivated team while contributing to a collaborative, innovation-focused, and globally oriented environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales organizations and create effective go-to-market strategies that support business growth.
  • Develop data strategies that enable effective promotional planning and execution while optimizing outcomes for clients.
  • Lead the development of industry insights and analytical capabilities to strengthen client value and support informed business decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior Sales and Operations leadership to build momentum for new opportunities and support successful deal conversion.
  • Project manage the resolution of internal, cross-functional client issues, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies balancing financial performance, business development, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build a culture of trust, respect, transparency, and collaboration across internal teams and client relationships.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs within deductions recovery, helping develop efficient recovery processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, increase operational efficiency, and deliver greater client value.
  • Translate strategic objectives into practical, executable plans that support business performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage collateral and materials required for client meetings, coordinating with Sales, Operations, Digital, and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct SWOT analyses, due diligence, and financial assessments to evaluate the potential business impact of prospective clients and opportunities.
  • Promote a transformation mindset by identifying automation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop a highly motivated team, encouraging continuous improvement, professional growth, and strong performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree in Business Administration or Business Analytics is also relevant.
  • Experience in business consulting, client relations, customer relationship management, global business strategies, sales forecasting, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, sales organizations, and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of global business strategies and commercial growth initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze data, market opportunities, financial information, and business performance to support strategic decision-making.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate complex initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Ability to translate high-level business strategies into practical plans and measurable actions.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a customer-focused and commercially minded approach.
  • Experience identifying process improvement, cost optimization, automation, and transformation opportunities.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities, with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong English communication skills, with C2-level proficiency required.
  • ITIL Foundation certification in IT Service Management is an asset.
