National Inside Sales Broker (Independent Broker)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a National Inside Sales Broker (Independent Broker) based in Canada.

This is a remote, entrepreneurial sales opportunity focused on expanding a premium Canadian natural health brand across national retail and practitioner channels. You will operate as an independent broker, managing your own portfolio of clients and driving growth through strategic relationship building and consultative selling. The role centers on supporting independent health food stores, pharmacies, and healthcare practitioners through phone, email, and virtual engagement. You will act as both a business developer and account manager, identifying new opportunities while strengthening existing partnerships. With strong autonomy, you will shape your own territory strategy, schedule, and sales approach. This position is ideal for a self-driven professional with an established network in the natural health or wellness industry who thrives in a commission-based model.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop, manage, and grow relationships with independent health food retailers, pharmacies, and healthcare practitioners across Canada.
  • Drive new business development by identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities within underserved and emerging markets.
  • Maintain and expand existing accounts through proactive communication, product education, and tailored promotional support.
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and virtual meetings, ensuring timely and professional responses to inquiries and needs.
  • Support customers with merchandising, promotional planning, and product recommendations to maximize sell-through.
  • Reactivate dormant accounts and identify opportunities to increase engagement and order frequency.
  • Build and nurture practitioner relationships, including naturopaths, chiropractors, nutritionists, pharmacists, and wellness clinics.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track territory performance, and provide regular sales and activity updates.
  • Participate in training sessions, product updates, and sales meetings to stay aligned with brand initiatives.
  • Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and conferences where applicable.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or account management within natural health products, supplements, pharmacy, or healthcare-related industries.
  • Strong existing network within independent retailers, pharmacies, or healthcare practitioner communities in Canada (preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage a territory or portfolio of accounts independently in a remote, self-directed environment.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with a disciplined, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Deep interest in health, wellness, and natural products, with the ability to communicate product value effectively.
  • Experience working with healthcare practitioners such as naturopaths, chiropractors, or nutrition-focused professionals is a strong asset.
  • Ability to operate as an independent contractor, managing your own business activities, schedule, and expenses.
