The Regional People Services Manager plays a strategic leadership role focused on strengthening people capabilities, talent pipelines, and organizational performance across a multi-site retail network.
The role partners closely with regional and district leadership teams to drive workforce planning, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
It is responsible for ensuring strong recruitment pipelines, effective training execution, and robust succession planning across store operations.
The position directly influences business performance by improving leadership quality, team engagement, and operational consistency.
It operates in a fast-paced, field-oriented retail environment requiring strong cross-functional collaboration.
This is a remote role based in Eastern Canada, with significant travel across store locations.
- Lead regional talent and performance management strategies to strengthen leadership pipelines and support business results
- Develop and maintain succession planning frameworks to ensure a strong internal bench for store leadership roles
- Analyze workforce and talent data to anticipate hiring needs and identify gaps in leadership capacity
- Drive recruitment and selection processes, ensuring timely hiring of qualified and culturally aligned candidates
- Support and oversee training programs, ensuring consistent rollout and adoption across the region
- Coach and guide leaders on effective talent development, performance management, and employee engagement practices
- Monitor engagement levels and workplace conditions, working with HR partners to resolve issues and improve retention
- Collaborate with cross-functional HR and operations teams to ensure alignment between people strategies and business objectives
- 7+ years of experience in HR, people operations, or generalist roles in a multi-site environment
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written)
- Strong experience in talent management, recruitment, and organizational development
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with ability to use HR systems and reporting tools
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and build relationships across diverse teams
- High level of adaptability, organization, and time management skills
- Experience in retail or large operational environments is an asset
- Salary range: $101,272 – $151,907
