Billing Analyst II – Branch Operations Support
Location: Charlotte, NC

Overview:
Miller Environmental Group (MEG) is seeking a Billing Analyst II to ensure timely, accurate invoicing to customers in a multi-location environment. Follow-up communication with customer and liaison with corporate office or branch offices, as necessary. Produce reports from NetSuite related to billing and project results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Gather necessary supporting documentation to produce accurate and timely billing for branch location(s) assigned
- Communicate regularly with branch offices to track status of in progress jobs and proactively anticipate and resolve potential billing hurdles
- Partner with cross functional departments on customer dispute resolution to ensure timely payment of invoices
- Effective communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to manage large volume of customer billing and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Process credits and rebills as needed
- Ability to oversee invoices with elevated level of complexity and escalations
- Generate billing and project reports as required
- Strong curiosity for process improvement
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years project billing experience
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Accounting Software such as NetSuite or Sales Force (Preferred)
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel such pivot tables, VLOOKUP (Preferred)
- Ability to multi-task and adaptive to flexibility
- Ability to work under pressure and time sensitive deadlines
- Detail orientated along with a high degree of accuracy
- Travel as needed; Ability to deploy to project site to complete billing function remotely
Education/Training/Experience:
- Associate’s degree or higher in accounting or business administration preferred
- 7 to 10 years project billing experience (Preferred)
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Work is performed primarily in an office setting
- Frequent sitting, typing, and use of computers and office systems
- Occasional walking, standing, bending, and light lifting (up to 10 lbs)
- Regular interaction with employees, vendors, and customers in person and via phone/email
- Moderate noise level consistent with a professional office environment
