Senior Consultant, AI

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant, AI in Canada.

This role is focused on designing, delivering, and scaling advanced AI solutions that drive measurable business value for enterprise clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, bridging business needs with cutting-edge AI capabilities across Microsoft and industry ecosystems. Working in a highly collaborative consulting environment, you will lead end-to-end solution delivery—from discovery and architecture to deployment and optimization. The position combines technical depth with strategic advisory responsibilities, including AI agent development, automation, and adoption frameworks. You will also play a key role in shaping best practices, reusable assets, and innovation within AI service offerings. This is a client-facing leadership role where impact is measured by solution quality, business outcomes, and successful AI adoption at scale.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of AI-driven solutions while ensuring alignment with client objectives, governance standards, and measurable ROI. You will act as both a technical expert and strategic advisor across multiple engagements, helping organizations adopt and scale AI responsibly.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of AI solutions, AI assessments, and adoption programs aligned with business outcomes and industry best practices
  • Build and customize AI agents using technologies from Microsoft Azure OpenAI Microsoft Azure OpenAI and other AI ecosystems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business processes into automation and AI opportunities
  • Define solution architecture, scope, and estimates while supporting proposals and Statements of Work
  • Ensure responsible AI practices including data privacy, bias mitigation, governance, and compliance standards
  • Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and best practices for scalable AI delivery
  • Conduct performance tuning, usage analysis, and feedback loops to continuously improve AI agent effectiveness
  • Deliver workshops, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase AI capabilities and drive adoption
  • Support pre-sales activities, R&D initiatives, and continuous improvement of delivery methodologies
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings deep consulting experience combined with strong technical expertise in AI, cloud platforms, and enterprise solution delivery. You are comfortable operating in complex environments and translating technical concepts into business value.

  • 10+ years of experience in technical implementations, including 7+ years in a lead or senior consulting role
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 Microsoft 365, Power Platform Microsoft Power Platform, Teams, Microsoft Graph, and Azure AI services
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI and automation solutions in enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of AI models and ecosystems including OpenAI OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google AI solutions
  • Experience with AI agent frameworks, prompt engineering, conversational design, or Copilot-style solutions such as Microsoft Copilot Microsoft Copilot
  • Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and communication skills across technical and executive audiences
  • Experience with cloud architecture, data governance, security, and compliance considerations for AI workloads
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, managed services models, and enterprise deployment practices
  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and lead cross-functional delivery efforts
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical education; relevant certifications strongly preferred
