Activity Assistant (Part-Time) – Assisted Living and Memory Care

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and facilitate a variety of engaging activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities

- Motivate residents to participate in activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being

- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during activities

- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment

- Maintain activity supplies and ensure the activity area is clean and organized

- Document resident participation and provide feedback to the care team as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in activity planning, senior care, or related fields preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility to work weekends and a commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week

- Ability to adapt activities for residents with varying cognitive and physical abilities

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in activity coordination or senior care are a plus
