Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager, Content & Lifecycle based in Canada.
This role offers the opportunity to shape a high-impact growth engine through content, SEO, lifecycle marketing, and AI-powered workflows. You will own the strategy and execution behind editorial content, newsletters, and conversion-focused initiatives that help users achieve meaningful outcomes. Working in a fast-growing, AI-driven environment, you will combine creativity, analytical thinking, and marketing expertise to turn content into measurable business growth. This is a hands-on senior role for someone who enjoys building, optimizing, and improving systems rather than simply managing them. You will collaborate closely with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to influence acquisition, engagement, and revenue. The position is ideal for a strategic content leader who thrives in autonomy, experimentation, and continuous innovation.
The Senior Growth Marketing Manager, Content & Lifecycle will own the complete content and lifecycle growth strategy, transforming editorial channels into scalable acquisition and conversion engines.
- Own the full editorial content lifecycle across blogs, pillar pages, and evergreen resource hubs, including research, planning, briefing, production, editing, publishing, and performance analysis.
- Drive organic growth through SEO and AI search optimization strategies, including content refreshes, internal linking, EEAT improvements, keyword targeting, and AI referral growth.
- Optimize content experiences for conversion by identifying opportunities, developing hypotheses, running experiments, and increasing registrations and subscriptions.
- Manage the strategy and execution of newsletters, including content planning, audience growth, engagement optimization, and performance reporting.
- Develop content-driven acquisition programs through lead magnets, reports, templates, nurture sequences, and email conversion flows.
- Create differentiated, data-driven content using proprietary insights, research, comparisons, and original market analysis.
- Build AI-enhanced content workflows using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar technologies to improve efficiency while maintaining quality.
- Lead improvements to content platforms, templates, UX, and publishing experiences to increase discoverability, engagement, and conversion.
- Manage and mentor editorial contributors while maintaining a strong content calendar and quality standards.
- Partner with marketing leadership to define priorities, analyze performance data, and execute initiatives aligned with broader acquisition goals.
The ideal candidate is an experienced growth and content marketing professional with strong editorial expertise, technical SEO knowledge, lifecycle marketing experience, and the ability to independently drive strategic initiatives.
- 5–8 years of experience in growth marketing, content marketing, or a related role, preferably within B2C products, SaaS, or content-driven businesses.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to create high-quality content and elevate the work of others.
- Strong hands-on SEO experience, including keyword strategy, search intent analysis, internal linking, content optimization, and content performance improvement.
- Experience with AI search optimization (AEO/GEO), EEAT strategies, and emerging AI-driven discovery channels.
- Strong conversion optimization mindset with experience improving landing pages, content journeys, and acquisition funnels.
- Lifecycle marketing and email experience, including newsletter ownership, lead generation campaigns, and nurture workflows.
- Experience managing writers, contractors, or editorial teams and maintaining scalable content operations.
- Advanced familiarity with AI/LLM tools and the ability to integrate them into daily marketing workflows.
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress; familiarity with modern web stacks is a plus.
- Knowledge of analytics and marketing tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and CRO platforms.
- Highly self-directed with strong judgment, ownership, and the ability to execute independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong quality standards with a passion for improving content, design, and user experiences.
- Ability to work consistently with North American time zone overlap.
- Competitive salary range of approximately $125,000–$130,000 per year.
