This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys solving technical challenges while supporting a distributed workforce. In this role, you will provide remote technical support, maintain critical IT systems, and ensure employees have the tools they need to work efficiently. You'll collaborate with teams across multiple locations, manage a variety of hardware and software environments, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of IT operations. The position offers a flexible remote work environment with exposure to a broad range of technologies, making it ideal for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and passionate about delivering outstanding technical support.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide first-line and remote IT support for employees across North American locations, resolving hardware, software, network, and VPN-related issues with a focus on timely, first-contact resolution.
  • Configure, image, deploy, and maintain desktop and laptop systems while ensuring standard operating system images remain current and compliant with established procedures.
  • Administer user accounts across business applications and maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and system documentation.
  • Support the maintenance of company and client websites while assisting with the management of computer hardware, peripherals, printers, and related equipment.
  • Develop and maintain end-user documentation, technical guides, and knowledge base resources to improve operational efficiency and user self-service.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues proactively, recommend process improvements, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of IT services in a remote environment.
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in Information Technology, with at least 2 years supporting Microsoft Windows desktop environments in production.
  • College diploma or equivalent education in Information Technology or a related discipline; additional training in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications is considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office applications, and PC imaging methodologies.
  • Familiarity with antivirus software, malware removal techniques, and endpoint support best practices.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and common network troubleshooting tools.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and software platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Fluency in both English and French is required; additional language skills are considered an asset.
  • Previous experience working successfully in a remote or home-office environment is preferred.
Benefits
  • Fully remote work opportunity from anywhere in Canada.
  • Flexible work schedule with part-time (minimum 15 hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week) options.
  • Flexible weekday, evening, and weekend scheduling to support individual availability.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
  • Opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies across infrastructure, end-user support, and web platforms.
  • Collaborative virtual work environment that encourages continuous learning and professional development.
  • Immediate start available for qualified candidates.
