This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Panasonic Pro A/V Sales Engineer based in United States.

This role is an opportunity to combine deep professional A/V expertise with consultative sales and technical solution design.
You will guide customers and partners through complex video, audio, IP, and live production solutions from pre-sales discovery through post-sales support.
The position involves designing systems, delivering compelling demonstrations, troubleshooting technical challenges, and supporting successful implementations.
You will work closely with sales, engineering, service, integrators, consultants, and end customers across a dynamic technology landscape.
Your expertise will also help shape product direction by capturing customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and emerging market needs.
As an individual contributor, you will have significant autonomy and influence while helping teams adopt new technologies and best practices.
With substantial customer interaction and travel, this is a highly visible role for a technically strong and commercially minded A/V professional.

Accountabilities
  • Lead technical pre-sales engagements with customers, partners, and sales teams, providing expertise across IP live production, PTZ and studio cameras, professional audio, software, and related solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical shoot-outs, seminars, trade shows, and customer presentations that clearly communicate solution capabilities and value.
  • Gather customer requirements and develop system designs, layouts, configurations, and technical proposals tailored to specific production and workflow needs.
  • Provide post-sales technical support by diagnosing product and solution issues, coordinating resolutions, and delivering virtual or on-site operational and maintenance training.
  • Deliver paid on-site services, including installation support, equipment setup, product configuration, system adjustment, integration, and commissioning.
  • Train sales teams, integrators, and customers on products, technologies, workflows, and solution capabilities.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of professional A/V, information technology, networking, IP production, and emerging technologies, with particular attention to new products and solutions.
  • Maintain working expertise across relevant third-party software and technologies and participate in product and service meetings with engineering and service teams.
  • Build strong customer and partner relationships to identify preferences, unmet needs, competitive developments, and emerging requirements.
  • Produce Voice of the Customer reports and communicate market insights to product management, planning, and development stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across the organization to share technical knowledge, develop best practices, and strengthen the overall customer experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Broadcast/AV Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7–10 years of professional experience in the professional video, broadcast, or A/V industry.
  • Working knowledge of SMPTE ST 2110 and NDI-based IP live production workflows.
  • Hands-on experience designing and operating IT/IP networks, security technologies, and products used in professional A/V environments.
  • Practical knowledge of PTZ cameras, auto-tracking technologies, streaming workflows, and professional video and audio systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to quickly diagnose complex customer, product, and sales challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills, with confidence engaging both small groups and large audiences.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with customers, consultants, integrators, partners, sales teams, and technical stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong awareness of rapidly evolving industry trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing at least 40 lbs.
  • Must have valid authorization to work in the United States.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary of $105,000–$120,000, plus bonus eligibility.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage.
  • Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account options.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching contributions and immediate vesting.
  • Life, accident, critical illness, disability, legal, identity theft, and pet insurance options.
  • Paid vacation, holidays, personal days, sick leave, volunteer time, and parental and caregiver leave.
  • Tuition reimbursement for eligible job-related courses after six months of service.
  • Lifestyle spending, employee assistance, virtual health management, and other wellbeing programs.
  • Additional resources supporting chronic conditions, neurodiversity, tobacco cessation, substance abuse, and life-stage and fertility needs.
  • Hybrid/remote flexibility, with travel required based on customer and business needs.
  • An inclusive workplace focused on fairness, collaboration, professional growth, and belonging.
