The role combines relationship management, retention, renewals, and strategic revenue expansion.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor, helping customers identify solutions that address their evolving business and technology needs.
Working closely with a regionally aligned Customer Engineer, you’ll orchestrate complex opportunities and drive measurable customer outcomes.
Success will require strong commercial judgment, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to operate independently in a distributed environment.
Occasional travel may be required for industry conferences, customer events, and internal team gatherings.

Accountabilities
  • Build and strengthen long-term relationships across a portfolio of 600+ existing SMB customers, proactively driving satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer objectives, identifying challenges, and aligning appropriate solutions to their needs.
  • Own customer revenue growth through upsell and cross-sell opportunities, increasing account value while delivering meaningful business outcomes.
  • Manage renewals, contract discussions, and negotiations, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience throughout the commercial cycle.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of active opportunities, prioritizing accounts and activities to maximize revenue and expansion potential.
  • Partner closely with Customer Engineering and other internal stakeholders to coordinate complex opportunities and deliver effective solutions.
  • Address customer questions and concerns, resolve issues proactively, and identify opportunities to improve engagement and overall account health.
  • Monitor industry developments, market trends, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, account information, and sales data while using insights to prioritize activities and inform commercial decisions.
  • Manage multiple accounts and competing priorities effectively while maintaining a high standard of customer service and execution.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing B2B software sales, ideally with significant exposure to the SMB market.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer relationships end-to-end and deliver measurable commercial and customer outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue, renewal, retention, and expansion targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong consultative selling and business development capabilities, with the ability to uncover underlying customer needs and translate them into opportunities.
  • Experience working in a software or SaaS sales environment is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to effectively manage a large portfolio of accounts and multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Operational proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and a strong understanding of data-driven sales practices.
  • Growth-oriented mindset, with a willingness to receive feedback, adapt quickly, and continuously improve.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership in a highly distributed, remote environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for conferences, customer events, and internal gatherings.
  • Candidates for this fully remote U.S. position must reside in an eligible state at the time of hire.
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary of $65,000–$78,000, depending on experience and location.
  • Fully remote work environment.
  • 401(k) program with a 200% match on contributions up to the first 5% of salary, providing a potential total employer match of 10%.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 99% of premiums covered for employees and dependents.
