EPC Project Management Coordinator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an EPC Project Management Coordinator based in United States.

This role supports the successful delivery of complex EPC projects from planning through completion, partnering closely with project managers and key stakeholders.
You will coordinate customers, vendors, contractors, owners, and internal teams to keep projects progressing on schedule.
The position combines project coordination, scheduling, construction activity monitoring, vendor management, and day-to-day operational support.
You will manage multiple project timelines while helping identify issues, implement changes, and maintain clear communication across stakeholders.
The role offers exposure to industrial projects and requires strong knowledge of PVF materials, technical specifications, and project workflows.
Success will depend on your ability to stay organized, respond quickly to changing priorities, and maintain high standards of accuracy and customer service.
This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday remote opportunity, with preference for candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone, particularly near Cincinnati, Ohio.

Accountabilities:
  • Support project delivery: Work closely with the Project Manager throughout the full project lifecycle, helping coordinate activities, timelines, documentation, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate stakeholders: Collaborate with customers, vendors, contractors, owners, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate timely project execution and delivery.
  • Manage project schedules: Develop, maintain, and coordinate multiple project schedules while tracking milestones, dependencies, deliveries, and changing timelines.
  • Monitor construction progress: Follow overall construction activities, identify schedule or workflow concerns, and communicate relevant updates to project leadership.
  • Coordinate project meetings: Organize and schedule recurring vendor meetings covering deliveries, technical questions, documentation, and other project requirements.
  • Manage customer communications: Coordinate regular customer updates and ensure stakeholders remain informed about project status, schedules, issues, and changes.
  • Support issue resolution: Participate in management calls addressing job-site issues, work schedules, subcontractor performance, and workflow efficiency.
  • Implement project changes: Help coordinate requested changes from customers or vendors and ensure associated schedules, timelines, and project activities are updated appropriately.
  • Handle daily operations: Support day-to-day project activities, including site purchases, expediting, delivery coordination, and other operational requirements.
  • Maintain project quality: Ensure project information is accurate, organized, current, and aligned with customer, commercial, and technical requirements.
  • Build relationships: Develop productive working relationships with customers, vendors, contractors, and colleagues while supporting successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience: 3–5 years of experience in industrial inside sales, project coordination, construction-related operations, or a similar environment is preferred.
  • Industry knowledge: Working knowledge of PVF (pipe, valves, and fittings) materials and processes is highly valuable.
  • Technical understanding: Ability to interpret, analyze, and evaluate commercial and technical specifications and apply them to project requirements.
  • Project coordination: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities, schedules, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technology skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PDF software and the ability to use technology effectively for project tracking and documentation.
  • Organization: Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Customer orientation: Strong customer service mindset combined with effective leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable responding to changing priorities, project requirements, and time-sensitive issues while maintaining organization and professionalism.
  • Collaboration: Team-oriented approach with the ability to build strong relationships with project teams, customers, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Multitasking: Ability to coordinate several major activities concurrently, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Work schedule/location: Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Candidates in the Eastern Time Zone are preferred, particularly those within a reasonable commuting distance of Cincinnati, Ohio.
