Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Technical Operations Analyst supports Pacific Maritime Industries' business and manufacturing operations

through operational analysis, project coordination, performance monitoring, process improvement, and

cross-functional collaboration. The role works with management, production, quality, engineering, purchasing,

and other departments to evaluate performance, identify improvement opportunities, coordinate initiatives, and

support data-driven management decisions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze operational, production, quality, cost, and performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, risks, and

improvement opportunities.

• Develop and maintain operational reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and management

summaries.

• Support management in planning and tracking operational objectives, departmental goals, improvement

initiatives, and action items.

• Coordinate cross-functional projects involving operations, production, engineering, quality, purchasing, and

management.

• Monitor project schedules, milestones, responsibilities, risks, and completion of assigned action items.

• Perform cost and operational analyses related to productivity, rework, quality issues, material utilization, and

process efficiency.

• Support continuous-improvement and corrective-action activities by collecting data, coordinating responsible

personnel, tracking progress, and reporting results.

• Review business and operational processes and recommend improvements to workflows, procedures, internal

controls, quality, reliability, and cost control.

• Translate technical and manufacturing information into measurable business indicators, reports, presentations,

procedures, and decision-support materials.

• Participate in operational and management review meetings and provide updates on projects, KPIs, risks, and

open action items.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master's degree in Business Administration or a related business field. Education in a technical or

scientific discipline is beneficial for work in PMI's manufacturing environment.

Preferred experience: Operations or project coordination; manufacturing or product development; business or

data analysis; quality and process improvement; cost or performance analysis; technical documentation and

reporting.

Core skills: Analytical problem-solving, operational and business-data interpretation, project and task

management, spreadsheet and business-software proficiency, clear communication, cross-functional

collaboration, organization, and follow-through.
