This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Cloud Developer – Virtualization based in India.
As a Cloud Developer, you will help build and maintain cloud-based solutions supporting mission-critical applications and hybrid cloud environments.
You will contribute to the development of innovative cloud application modules, from coding and testing through deployment and troubleshooting.
The role provides hands-on exposure to cloud platforms, virtualization, containers, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
You will work alongside technical experts, project managers, and development partners in a collaborative engineering environment.
Your work will contribute to scalable, secure, and reliable cloud services designed to solve complex customer and business challenges.

- Develop and maintain cloud application modules according to feature specifications while adhering to security and engineering standards.
- Design test plans and create, execute, and automate test cases for assigned application components.
- Deploy application code and investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across application, system, and network environments.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions that address complex application, system administration, and network challenges.
- Work with project managers, development partners, technical contributors, and other stakeholders to support effective delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud solutions.
- Research and evaluate innovative technical approaches and share ideas with peers, technical leaders, and managers.
- Apply DevOps principles and contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Support cloud and virtualization initiatives involving platforms such as AWS and Azure and technologies such as KVM and OpenVZ.
- Contribute to microservice-based architectures and containerized environments managed through Kubernetes.
- Develop and support CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Participate in software testing methodologies, including test planning, scripting, automation, debugging, and evaluation of testing tools and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a closely related quantitative discipline; a master's degree is desirable.
- Typically 1–3 years of relevant software development or engineering experience.
- Programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of software development fundamentals, including coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and virtualization technologies including KVM or OpenVZ.
- Understanding of microservice architecture and containerized application environments using Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts, particularly continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), and experience with GitHub Actions is advantageous.
- Ability to design and execute test plans, develop testing scripts, automate tests, and investigate software defects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in breaking down complex technical challenges.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving cloud and software engineering environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and cross-functional teams.
- A proactive mindset, curiosity about emerging technologies, and the ability to contribute independently while working within defined technical parameters.
