Clerk in Bolivar, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Front Office Clerk to join our Oncology Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Position Details

• Status: Full Time

• Work Shift: Days

• Hours: 8:00a.m- 4:30p.m

What Your Day Looks Like: The Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center is a partnership between Citizens Memorial Hospital and Central Care Cancer Center in Kansas. The facility provides medical oncology/hematology, as well as radiation services.

Services include:

• Chemotherapy

• Hematology

• Rehabilitation services

• Prosthetic fittings

• Social services

• Dietary services

As a Clerk, you will be:

• Working closely with the physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and registered medical assistants

• Answering the telephone and routing to appropriate people

• Scheduling office visits, clinic procedures, updating consents, patient insurance, and demographics.

• Collecting clinic co-pays, obtaining medical records, and assisting with coordination of referrals.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: 1 year customer service in healthcare or clerical

Skills: Organization, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking

Licensure/Certification: N/A

Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
