Mammo Technologist at Emerson Hospital – Concord, Massachusetts

Job Summary

Reporting to the Lead Technologist and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs a variety of mammography procedures that utilize radiation, while monitoring and maintaining essential patient care and safety.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required. Experience Previous radiologic technology experience preferred. Prior mammography experience strongly preferred.

Licensure and/or Certification

Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required or Temporary Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of MA required. Currently registered as R.T.(M)(ARRT) or registry-eligible R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT) within 6months of hire. While not R.T.(M)(ARRT) must have a current Mammography Permit in the Commonwealth of MA BLS healthcare provider required.

Skills Strong communication and customer service skills. Must be computer proficient including PACS and HIS/RIS. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to maintain confidential information required
