As a Security Training Instructor (STI), you will support the airport training program through the performance of a variety of training-related functions. In addition to training program responsibilities, you will also perform pre-board security screening of persons, cargo, carry-on, and checked baggage as directed by the Federal Security Director (FSD) or his/her designee, a minimum of 20% of the time.

Requirement and Selection Process: Potential candidates must be Dual Function Certified.

Candidates must have at least one year of experience functioning at a TSO level or above.

The candidate must have previous instructor experience, meeting at least one of the following:

• Minimum of 2 years of adult-learning classroom instruction experience
• Instructor certification from a recognized instructor-training program
• Formal instructor training from a recognized source (Military, college/university or trade school, private corporation)
• Teaching certificate
