Job Description
Receiving Associate
Shift: Monday-Friday7:00AM-4:00PM with opportunities for 6:00AM - 4:00PM (as business dictates).
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse. The Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately receiving inbound shipments and ensuring inventory is entered correctly into the warehouse. As the first step in the warehouse process, this role helps maintain inventory accuracy and supports the success of all downstream operations.
Essential Functions
· Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
· Identify and resolve inventory, freight, and documentation discrepancies.
· Research and correct receiving issues before inventory is processed.
· Maintain accurate records and follow inventory control procedures.
· Work closely with Material Handling, Quality, Inventory Control, and Operations teams.
· Utilize warehouse systems and basic reports to validate information.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
· Basic computer and math skills.
· Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
· Ability to interpret and follow work instructions.
Physical Demands
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
· Ability to lift and move cartons weighing up to 60 pounds.
· Ability to safely work within a warehouse environment.

· Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
· Must meet all company and applicable federal, state, and local background screening and drug testing requirements.
