As a Warehouse Coordinator, you’ll help keep Mercer’s warehouses, buildings, and grounds operating efficiently. You’ll coordinate daily tasks, maintain supplies and inventory, support shipping and receiving, and perform general maintenance and repairs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is resourceful, organized, and enjoys hands-on work and helping a team stay on track.
This position works onsite in warehouse, office, and outdoor settings.

What You’ll Do
Coordinate daily and special assignments, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
Assist and train team members, monitor attendance and dress code, and communicate employee activity to the Facility Manager
Work with the Facility Manager to coordinate work schedules, assignments, staffing needs, and overtime requirements
Open warehouses and prepare shipping and mailing equipment for daily operations
Support material breakdown, storage, replenishment, quality checks, loading, and shipping while making efficient use of warehouse space
Order, receive, organize, and issue inventory, tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies, including LP gas
Work with the Purchasing Manager to maintain accurate inventories and ensure supplies arrive when needed
Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and package shipments and complete related reports
Perform routine property maintenance and repairs, including painting, pressure washing, minor construction, and running cables
Inspect buildings and grounds for cleanliness and address maintenance needs
Monitor radio requests and follow through to ensure requests for assistance are completed
Follow security procedures for locking and unlocking buildings and gates
Who You Are
Organized and dependable, with the ability to prioritize assignments and follow projects through to completion
Comfortable coordinating tasks and helping team members work effectively
Resourceful when solving minor maintenance problems and identifying ways to improve processes
Able to work independently, follow instructions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Familiar with warehouse operations, inventory handling, and safe equipment use
Familiar with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning other computer systems
Have a valid driver’s license and the ability to safely operate golf carts and forklift equipment
Preferred Experience: General property maintenance or construction experience, including painting, pressure washing, minor repairs, and similar hands-on work. Trucking industry experience is a plus.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent relevant experience in general maintenance or construction.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The essential functions of this position require the ability to perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
Perform physically active work, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, and sitting for extended periods
Lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques
Reach above shoulder height and below the waist and use hands and fingers to operate tools, equipment, controls, and computers
Safely operate equipment, inspect work areas, and communicate by radio
Work regularly outdoors in varying weather conditions and in areas where noise levels may exceed moderate levels
