WAREHOUSE-DISTRIBUTION CENTER-SPRINGFIELD at Bluegrass Ingredients Inc – Springfield, Kentucky

Duties and Responsibilities: including, but not limited to, the following:

Maintain records for receiving of ingredients and supplies. Etc. and for shipping of production on cheese, whey and other finished good.

• Verify trailer is clean and fit to load and unload
• Operate dock doors and leveler.
• Verify bill of ladings and pick-up numbers.
• Learn to and make up loads for all departments per customer orders.
• Maintain and operate a forklift.
• Perform accurate monthly inventories.
• Transfer ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Complies with plant regulations concerning GMP’s, safety rules and work rules and loss control procedures.
• Responsible for identifying and addressing any food safety hazards. In the event that a food safety hazards is identified, the employee it to notify their supervisor, a member of Quality, or a member of the Leadership Team.
• Responsible for attending all required safety and food safety training.
• Required to train to drive the company truck.
• Perform any and all duties as assigned by supervisor.

Physical Demands :standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, climbing ladders and stairs and carrying up to 85 pounds.
