Operations Manager in North Kansas City, Missouri at NorthPoint Development LLC

We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee warehousing operations at Metro Park Warehouses.

Salary: $65,000.00 annually

Shift time: 6am-2:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities

• Strategically manage warehouse in alignment with company policies and vision
• Manage and oversee all receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
• Manage the storage and distribution of warehouse goods
• Utilize the warehouse space and environment to achieve maximum efficiency
• Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures
• Maintain safety and industry standards to ensure that products are dispatched and delivered safely and efficiently
• Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment by warehouse employees
• Assures that customer accounts receive prompt, efficient service from the office and warehouse staff.
• Actively participate in recruiting, selecting, coaching, and motivating employees

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of warehouse management experience required
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
• Ability to operate forklift effectively
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
• Display solid working knowledge of standard computer applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
