The position plays a key part in analyzing plan performance, identifying cost-control opportunities, and recommending tailored benefits solutions. You will collaborate closely with advisors and internal teams to deliver a seamless and high-quality client experience. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and negotiating renewals for small group benefits plans while ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines. You will assess claims experience, pricing history, and plan performance to generate insights and renewal recommendations. You will also propose plan design adjustments and cost containment strategies aligned with client needs and sustainability goals. Collaboration is key, as you will support advisors and internal teams with data, insights, and strategic guidance. Additionally, you will communicate renewal outcomes clearly, explain pricing drivers, and ensure data integrity across internal systems. You will prioritize and manage multiple renewal files efficiently while resolving issues and coordinating with underwriting, operations, and client service teams.
- Prepare, manage, and negotiate group benefits renewals for small plans with precision and timeliness
- Analyze claims experience, pricing trends, and plan performance to inform renewal strategies
- Recommend plan design changes and cost containment solutions tailored to client needs
- Support advisors with data insights and strategic renewal guidance
- Clearly present renewal results and pricing drivers to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure accurate data entry and system updates related to renewals and plan changes
- Coordinate with underwriting, operations, and service teams to resolve renewal-related issues
- Prioritize and manage multiple files to meet strict deadlines
The ideal candidate is fully bilingual in French and English, with strong analytical and mathematical abilities and a solid understanding of group benefits pricing principles. You bring experience in insurance, benefits administration, underwriting, or a related financial/analytical field. A college or university degree (or equivalent experience) is required, along with strong organizational and multitasking skills. Professional certification in employee benefits (or willingness to obtain it within 3 years) is considered an asset. You are confident in negotiation, problem-solving, and managing competing priorities under pressure. Strong proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and Outlook, is essential. You demonstrate customer focus, adaptability, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
- Fully bilingual in French and English (required)

- College or university degree, or equivalent relevant experience
- CEBS certification or willingness to obtain within 3 years
