Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Growth based in United States.
This is a senior individual-contributor opportunity focused on shaping and scaling product-led growth across a broad B2B SaaS portfolio.
You will own growth strategy across activation, engagement, retention, expansion, cross-sell, upsell, and monetization.
The role combines strategic product leadership with hands-on experimentation, analytics, customer insight, and roadmap ownership.
You will identify high-impact opportunities, translate them into a compelling growth roadmap, and drive measurable business outcomes.
Success requires close partnership with Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Marketing, and Sales teams across a complex organization.
You will operate with significant autonomy and influence without formal authority, turning ambiguity into clear priorities and action.
The role is especially suited to a growth leader who is curious about AI and motivated to build new mechanisms for sustainable product growth.
- Own growth strategy and opportunity identification: Lead opportunity sizing and prioritization across activation, engagement, retention, trial-to-paid conversion, expansion, and monetization using quantitative analysis, customer journeys, and qualitative insights.
- Build and manage the growth roadmap: Define a clear growth vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives, secure meaningful cross-functional alignment, and continuously adapt priorities based on results and new insights.
- Drive engagement and monetization: Design and launch initiatives such as onboarding improvements, in-product messaging, cross-sell and upsell programs, and other lifecycle experiences that improve engagement and revenue.
- Optimize the customer lifecycle: Improve conversion and retention throughout trial, purchase, renewal, and expansion journeys while balancing self-serve and sales-assisted growth motions.
- Lead experimentation: Design, launch, analyze, and iterate on A/B and multivariate experiments with appropriate statistical rigor, turning test results into actionable product decisions.
- Partner across functions: Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Design, Analytics, Marketing, and Sales while influencing priorities and outcomes without direct authority.
- Translate data and customer insight into decisions: Combine analytics, user interviews, support themes, journey mapping, and behavioral data to identify opportunities and determine when sufficient evidence exists to act.
- Explore AI-enabled growth: Identify opportunities for personalized onboarding, AI-powered lifecycle communication, and agentic in-product experiences that create new growth mechanisms.
- Track and communicate outcomes: Establish and monitor meaningful growth metrics, communicate initiative performance to stakeholders, and ensure the organization remains focused on measurable outcomes rather than activity alone.
- Build sustainable growth capabilities: Establish an experimentation cadence and operating model that consistently generates learning, prioritization, and measurable improvements.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in product growth, ideally within a technology or B2B SaaS environment, with demonstrated success across activation, engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Growth expertise: Hands-on experience improving trial, purchase, renewal, or expansion funnels and understanding how self-serve and sales-assisted motions can work together.
- Strategic leadership: Ability to establish a vision and strategy for a growth area, assess opportunities, prioritize investments, and clearly articulate the rationale behind major product bets.
- Analytical rigor: Strong ability to work directly with data and analytics tools, assess complex information, evaluate experiment results, and use evidence to drive decisions.
- Customer orientation: Strong empathy for users and the ability to combine qualitative and quantitative insights to understand customer journeys and identify meaningful friction points.
- Influence and collaboration: Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence Engineering, Design, Analytics, Marketing, and Sales stakeholders without formal authority.
- Experimentation: Demonstrated experience designing and running product experiments, interpreting results, and applying both successful outcomes and lessons learned to future decisions.
- AI fluency: Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies for discovery, prototyping, analysis, and productivity.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: Comfortable operating in ambiguity, taking ownership of a growth area, building new capabilities, and moving initiatives forward with limited direction.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and adapt messaging to different audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field required; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Preferred experience: Experience with marketplace growth, particularly within ecosystems such as Atlassian Marketplace, Microsoft Marketplace, or Salesforce AppExchange; familiarity with in-app messaging platforms such as Appcues; and experience launching and rapidly scaling zero-to-one products or platforms.
- Remote-first work environment.
- Unlimited vacation in most locations.
- Health, dental, and vision benefits.
- Savings/retirement plan.
- Training and professional development reimbursement.
- Work-from-home reimbursement.
- Conference and course budgets.
- Mentorship and opportunities for professional growth.
- Diverse, collaborative teams working on challenging and high-impact products.
- Opportunities to attend in-person meetups and travel to international offices.
- Social activities, both virtual and in person.
- Employee referral program.
- Opportunity to influence products used by enterprise organizations at significant scale.
