About Green Beagle Lodge
Green Beagle Lodge is looking for a Pack Member to join our Pet Care team! If you enjoy working with dogs, staying active, and being part of a fast-paced team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a Pack Member, you'll play an important role in providing a safe, clean, and enriching environment for our boarding and daycare guests. Every day is different: from supervising playgroups and caring for overnight boarders to maintaining clean accommodations and helping dogs feel comfortable while they're away from home.

All team members complete a structured orientation and industry-specific training program, followed by hands-on experience designed to build confidence and strengthen dog-handling, safety, and animal care skills.

Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to meet the needs of the business. Candidates should be available to work a combination of mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Responsibilities
- Safely handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments.
- Supervise off-leash playgroups while monitoring dog body language and group dynamics.
- Provide individualized care for boarding guests, including feeding, medication administration (as trained), potty breaks, enrichment activities, and comfort checks.
- Maintain clean guest accommodations, play yards, and common areas through frequent cleaning and sanitization.
- Observe dogs for changes in behavior, appetite, health, or activity level and communicate concerns to leadership.
- Follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, and individualized care plans accurately.
- Assist with safely moving dogs throughout the facility.
- Maintain accurate daily records and complete assigned operational tasks.
- Work collaboratively with Client Care, Grooming, and Training teams to ensure exceptional care for every guest.
- Follow all company safety procedures and standard operating protocols.
Ideal candidates bring a genuine passion for animals, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional care. This is a physically demanding position requiring continuous movement, cleaning, lifting, and hands-on interaction with dogs weighing anywhere from 5 to 150 pounds.
Qualifications
- Genuine love for dogs and animal welfare.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
- Ability to read and respond appropriately to canine body language (training provided).
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions when supervising outdoor play.
- Previous professional animal care experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments.
