Job Description
1. POSITION SNAPSHOT
In this role, you will serve as a key operational partner to the Site Director, helping ensure the successful execution, compliance, and continuous improvement of FlackTek's South Carolina operations. You will own site inventory control, incoming quality inspection, and safety compliance programs while helping drive operational excellence across the facility. This position requires a hands-on professional who can balance day-to-day execution with process improvement, problem-solving, and strategic operational support. Your work will directly impact inventory accuracy, supplier quality, workplace safety, operational efficiency, and the successful growth of FlackTek's expanding South Carolina operations as we transition from Landrum to the Greer area.
This role reports to the Site Director

- Inventory Accuracy Rate = 98%
- Cycle Count Completion Rate = 95% Monthly
- Incoming Material Acceptance Rate Tracking & Reporting
- Supplier Quality Issues Resolved Within Established Corrective Action Timelines
- 100% Completion of Required OSHA and Safety Documentation
- Zero Preventable OSHA Violations
- Monthly Safety Audits Completed On Time
- Corrective Actions Closed Within Established Deadlines

3. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own inventory accuracy, incoming quality, and safety compliance for the South Carolina operation
- Maintain accurate inventory records within inventory management systems
- Perform routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Receive, inspect, and disposition incoming materials from vendors
- Verify incoming cups, lids, packaging, and supplies meet quality expectations before inventory acceptance
- Document and communicate supplier quality concerns
- Coordinate follow-up on supplier corrective actions when needed
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory
- Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment needs
- Update inventory transactions in real time
- Generate inventory, quality, and safety reports for management review
- Maintain inventory documentation and audit records
- Maintain OSHA compliance records and required safety documentation
- Lead routine site safety inspections and audits
- Identify and implement workplace safety improvements
- Support incident investigations and corrective action plans
- Partner with the Site Director on operational improvement initiatives
- Analyze operational data and recommend process improvements
- Develop and maintain site operating procedures
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager on inventory flow, receiving, and fulfillment support
- Communicate inventory, quality, and safety issues proactively
- Support facility transition activities as operations move from Landrum, SC to the Greer, SC area
4. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in inventory control, quality assurance, safety, warehouse operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or related operational environments
- Experience conducting inventory audits, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations
- Experience administering safety programs, audits, inspections, or OSHA-related initiatives
- Experience in inspecting incoming materials and evaluating product quality standards
- Experience identifying operational issues and implementing corrective actions
- Experience working independently in a fast-paced operational environment
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard business software
- Experience using inventory management systems, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems
- Ability to analyze operational data and prepare reports
- Working knowledge of inventory control, quality assurance, and safety compliance practices
- Strong documentation, audit, and recordkeeping skills
5. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience in manufacturing, plastics, packaging, industrial distribution, fulfillment, or warehouse operations
- Experience supporting OSHA compliance programs
- Experience conducting supplier quality inspections and investigations
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience supporting facility growth, startup operations, or site expansions
- Preferred Skills:
- Forklift certification or material handling equipment experience
- Experience with barcode scanners and RF devices
- Knowledge of inventory accuracy metrics, warehouse KPIs, and quality performance metrics
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices
- Experience developing procedures, work instructions, and operational documentation

7. WORK LOCATION, SCHEDULE & TRAVEL
- Role Type: Full Time - Non-Exempt
- Location: Onsite in Landrum, SC with planned transition to the Greer, SC area within approximately 4-6 months
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm
- Travel: Up to 10% (domestic)
8. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Compensation:
- Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000
