**Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000**

**This is an in-person position located in Denver, CO**

SUMMARY:

The Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring the allocation of all resources to ensure the efficient and effective movement of our customers’ orders and products. This includes direct supervision of the professional drivers necessary to manage scheduling. The Logistics Manager will develop and monitor field efficiencies and innovate new ways to improve logistics operations. This position will also be responsible for customer service, discussing challenges and working with management to develop actions plans to improve driver performance, profitability, and customer service. It is the Logistics Managers responsibility to ensure all goods are accounted for each shipment, and to ensure each shipment arrives on time. The Logistics Manager may also provide additional support to management during business department audits or as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs the following responsibilities in accordance with VoidForm policies and procedures, work rules, expectations, and behavior standards:

  • Responsible for managing all routing modifications to ensure the business is utilizing equipment and staff efficiently.
  • Responsible for monitoring and managing Key Performance Indicators and cost factors impacting operational effectiveness.
  • Responsible for effective communication with customers daily regarding core transportation issues impacting the customer and the effectiveness and
    efficiency of the fleet.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a positive work environment where team members and their contributors are recognized and valued.
    Maintain frequent communication with all team members.
  • Responsible for organizing and scheduling all necessary resources required to accomplish product distribution and truck-to-product allocation.
  • Responsible for finding and creating efficiencies regarding hauling maximum loads while conserving fuel by utilizing available technology.
  • Responsible for setting and monitoring productivity, service, and safety targets for each route and driver.
  • Responsible for monitoring daily truck load goals and be able to explain variances from company stands.
  • Responsible for managing and supervising permanent-employed as well as 3rd party agency employed drivers as well as making sure productivity is
    commensurate with hours worked.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive relationship with all drivers. Creating a driver experience that is number one in the industry,
    while being involved in the hiring of driver, implementing performance reviews, and establishing compensation, any necessary employee disciplinary
    actions including termination, and managing Paid Time Off (PTO) approvals.
  • Responsible for verifying drivers’ hours for payroll, creating POs for 3rd party agencies drivers.
  • Responsible for proper Driver Logs record keeping for all drivers as needed.
  • Responsible for all non-motor trailer preventative and Department of Transportation (DOT) maintenance and series and communicating and working
    effectively with the Fleet Manager in providing recommended/needed vehicle maintenance issues discovered by drivers over $1,000 in cost,
    processing all PO administration required.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining strong vendor relationships as needed including trailer maintenance and trailer rental/leasing.
  • Responsible for managing trailer rentals and leasing as needed in meeting customer requirements.
  • Support Fleet Manager by assisting in ensuring all vehicles are clean and maintained to the highest standards in representing the Company.
  • Performs other duties as assigned based on experience, skills, and business needs.
Requirements:

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Training, and Experience Required)

  • Required: Associate, Vocational or Technical Degree
  • Preferred: 4-year College Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business, or related field

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated experience leading, directing, communicating change and development of a team strongly desired.
  • Demonstrate ability to comply with VoidForm’s behavior standards and values.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred candidates will have a working knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet objectives.
  • Experience working in computer programs including MS Office suite, Teams, Access, and VF Pro programs used at VoidForm.
  • Excellent reading, writing and communication skills.
  • High organized with strong general office skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Good moral character

  • Prolonged periods of walking in and around the warehouse
  • Bending, stooping and lifting up to 20 pounds

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal to high volumes of stress.
