As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the roadmap and execution for key products within our fintech portfolio. Working at the intersection of product, marketing, and technology, you'll partner with engineering, data, operations, and compliance to deliver customer-centric, compliant, and commercially successful products. This role is ideal for someone equally comfortable defining product requirements, digging into customer insights, and translating complex concepts into intuitive digital experiences.
What You’ll Do – Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Vision
- Define and continuously refine the product roadmap for your area, aligned with company/ department goals and market opportunities.
- Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and new product or feature opportunities.
- Build and communicate a compelling business case and product narrative to align stakeholders and inform go-to-market planning.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of B2C consumer behavior and B2B2C channel dynamics, ensuring product strategy accounts for both the needs of distribution partners (lenders, dealers, affiliates) and the end borrower experience.
Discovery & Execution
- Drive customer discovery through interviews, usability testing, and analysis of behavioral data and product analytics.
- Translate customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives into clear requirements and user stories.
- Validate concepts through experiments (A/B tests, pilots, betas) and iterate based on qualitative and quantitative feedback.
- Partner with marketing early in delivery to ensure features are built with clear value propositions and measurable outcomes.
- Work closely with engineering to define technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and release plans, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
- Develop consumer-facing positioning and messaging frameworks in collaboration with marketing, ensuring in-product language, onboarding flows, and feature names resonate with B2C audiences and reflect the borrower’s decision-making journey.
- Design and validate product experiences that serve dual audiences in a B2B2C model — balancing partner integration requirements with seamless, trust-building consumer journeys.
Growth & Optimization
- Partner with marketing leadership to improve lead capture, conversion funnels, and partner referral flows.
- Use data, experimentation, and user feedback to measure performance and inform roadmap tradeoffs.
- Track and optimize funnel metrics (awareness, acquisition, activation, cross-sell/upsell) to drive growth and profitability.
- Own go-to-market planning for new features and products, including audience segmentation, launch sequencing, and channel strategy across both B2C direct and B2B2C partner-distributed paths.
- Apply consumer psychology and behavioral insights to optimize conversion at each stage of the borrower funnel, including rate presentation, savings framing, and application flow design.
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
- Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for your product area with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Communicate priorities, progress, and outcomes clearly and regularly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Compliance & Operational Excellence
- Ensure products meet regulatory, legal, security, and risk requirements relevant to financial services/fintech.
- Proactively identify operational and customer risks, define mitigation strategies, and drive continuous improvement in product processes and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years leading or managing product teams.
- 1–3 years in a marketing-oriented PM role at the intersection of product and marketing.
- Demonstrated success owning a product or large product area from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.
- Strong command of marketing funnels and metrics (CTR, conversion, CAC, LTV, retention, churn) and proven experience collaborating with marketing on go-to-market strategy and growth initiatives.
- Solid grasp of core PM practices: customer discovery, roadmap development, requirements definition, backlog management, and product lifecycle management.
- Ability to translate complex financial and technical concepts into simple, customer-friendly experiences.
- Demonstrated experience building or marketing products in a B2C or B2B2C environment, with a clear understanding of how consumer decision-making differs from enterprise buying behavior.
- Proven ability to develop consumer value propositions and translate them into product requirements, in-product messaging, and launch narratives — not just feature specifications.
- Experience with auto lending, auto refinancing, or consumer credit products.
- Familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS), credit decisioning, or lending infrastructure.
- Direct experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Growth Product Manager, or hybrid Product + Marketing role.
- Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, or platform-based products.
- Experience working with external partners or B2B clients in a product-led organization.
- Knowledge of marketing technology, lead management, or conversion optimization.
- Experience designing products that serve two distinct audiences simultaneously (e.g., a referring partner and an end consumer), with examples of how you navigated competing requirements.
- Familiarity with consumer trust signals and UX patterns specific to financial products, such as rate transparency, savings framing, social proof, and friction reduction in multi-step applications.
- Background in marketplace, embedded finance, or white-label products where distribution runs through a business channel but the end user is a consumer.
- Base Salary: $160,000 – $190,000 Annually (commensurate with experience)
- Bonus: Performance-based incentives tied to company and individual goals
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, career development opportunities, and the chance to join Denver's Best Place to Work (2024 & 2025) with a dynamic culture focused on internal promotion and employee growth
