Description:
  • Provide clinical leadership by overseeing medical staff activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement clinical policies aligned with federal regulations.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, clinical development, and healthcare management strategies.
  • Participate in utilization management and case reviews to optimize patient outcomes while maintaining cost-effective care.
  • Support clinical research efforts by facilitating protocols that adhere to FDA regulations and institutional review board (IRB) requirements.
  • Oversee training programs for clinical staff on EMR/EHR systems, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets related to clinical programs or new healthcare initiatives.
  • Extensive knowledge of managed care principles and healthcare management practices.
  • Proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for documentation and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for effective supervision of clinical activities.
  • Proven experience in hospital settings or outpatient clinics with supervising medical personnel.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with supervisory experience in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes related to healthcare services and resource allocation.
