Balance Point Wellness is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) and is a community-based, holistic mental health and wellness practice providing counseling, psychotherapy, psychiatry, adventure therapy, and wellness services to individuals and families throughout Maryland.
We proudly serve clients through our in-person, hybrid, and telehealth programs. In-person and hybrid opportunities are available in our Hunt Valley, Overlea/Nottingham, Bel Air, and Salisbury office locations. We also provide telehealth services throughout Maryland, and Delaware, as well as school-based mental health services in Baltimore County and Harford County Public Schools.

We are seeking talented, compassionate licensed therapists (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LCMFT, Psychologist, and other qualified Maryland-licensed clinicians) to join our growing team.
This is a W-2 Fee-for-Service position. Our Fee-for-Service opportunity offers unlimited earning potential with no income cap.
Therapist Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned caseload by providing ongoing individual therapy.
- Complete psychosocial assessments.
- Develop person-centered treatment plans, as appropriate.
- Complete timely clinical documentation and progress notes in our cloud-based electronic health record (EHR).
- Meet monthly productivity expectations.
- Dedicated Service Coordinator to assist with scheduling, client communication, treatment plan coordination, document collection, and caseload management.

- Typical weekly caseload of 25–30 clients.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field required.
- Active Maryland licensure to independently or provisionally provide mental health treatment (e.g., LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LCMFT, Psychologist).
- Experience providing psychotherapy in a community-based behavioral health setting preferred.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and any other required pre-employment screenings.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and documentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload while maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation.
