About This Position

The CWV leadership has more than 40 years of combined experience in the areas of mental health, disability, affordable housing, and community development. Our work is focused specifically on improving the conditions of people with low material wealth, in the areas of policy, academic research, and community based practice.

CWV was born out of years of documented needs for high quality behavioral health services. The resilience, and resourcefulness of the communities remained remarkable. However, the systemic barriers and lack of results-based accountability infrastructure continuously created opportunities for targeted improvements.

Community Wellness Ventures, LLC is a minority-owned business incorporated in the District of Columbia. As Washingtonians, we have a vested interest in building a stronger wellness infrastructure in the District that will yield positive outcomes for vulnerable fellow residents.

CWV creates a results-driven pathway that assists our consumers with navigating systems that will cultivate their well-being, build capacity for new skills, and manage their behavioral health needs.
