Inside Sales Associate

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Inside Sales Associate based in Canada.

We are seeking an Inside Sales Associate to support customer growth and revenue retention through proactive sales outreach and relationship management.
This role focuses on engaging existing and potential customers, understanding their shipping needs, and identifying opportunities to strengthen business partnerships.
You will analyze customer activity, uncover trends, and deliver targeted solutions that improve satisfaction and support long-term growth.
Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will combine communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and sales expertise to create meaningful customer experiences.
The position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to business performance while developing valuable skills in sales, customer engagement, and account management.
You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and helping customers find effective solutions tailored to their needs.

Accountabilities:

The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for managing customer interactions, supporting revenue growth, and ensuring high-quality service through proactive communication and effective problem resolution.

  • Conduct outbound sales calls and routine follow-ups with existing and prospective customers to maintain and grow revenue.
  • Analyze customer shipping history and account activity to identify trends, opportunities, and relevant discussion points.
  • Use customer insights to ask targeted questions and recommend appropriate solutions based on business needs.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns related to billing, shipping, and service issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through consistent communication and reliable support.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction.
  • Document customer interactions, follow sales processes, and maintain accurate account information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and support customer success.
  • Complete additional responsibilities and projects as required by the department.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage sales conversations while identifying opportunities for growth. You should be comfortable working independently, analyzing information, and building trusted relationships with customers.

  • Experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, or a related commercial role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and handle a variety of client interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and recommend solutions.
  • Comfortable analyzing customer data, account activity, and business trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently while contributing to a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality customer experiences.
  • Proficiency with standard business tools and customer management systems is an asset.
