GENERAL SUMMARY
HT BOLTING SYSTEMS, a division of HYDRAULIC TECHNOLOGIES, is a full service global manufacturer of controlled bolting products, including hydraulic torque and tensioning systems, certified bolting training programs, product rentals, and flange management database software. We are currently recruiting for an Inside Sales Coordinator/Admin person to work in our Pasadena rental facility. HT Bolting Systems rental business is a fast paced, emergency based business and requires an individual that works well under pressure, can handle many tasks at one time, and remain organized.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
To assist customers via call in, drop in, or via email requests, with various customer support functions to insure quick response, excellent customer service as well as accurate and timely paperwork.
Duties included but not limited to:
- Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and walk-in
- Rental Order Entry into Sirius rental system
- Generate formal quotations for both rental and sales
- Rental stock check and tooling coordination
- Prepare rental files
- Prepare and generate rental invoices
- Sales Order Entry into SAP
- Provide technical information on applications for proper tool selection
- Generate work orders for customer repairs
- Purchase parts from 3rd party vendors to complete customer repairs
- Generate invoices for customer repairs
- Prepare and maintain customer repair files

SKILLS
- Must be effective at managing multiple tasks
- Be very organized and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Work independently, be a self-starter, and self-motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs and able to learn new programs.
- Must have technical/mechanical aptitude, to understand product line.
- Have mechanical aptitude and technical background
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 5 years inside sales/customer service in an industrial environment.
- Experience within an industrial rental organization would be a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The working conditions described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the principal duties and responsibilities of the job. The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing area which, under certain conditions, requires the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. The temperature of the primary work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machining. Industrial lighting provided.
