Role Summary

NovoLINC is seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of its advanced thermal interface products. Working closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the Product Manager bridges customers, R&D, manufacturing, and business development to ensure products meet market needs while achieving commercial success. The Product Manager will also serve as the key liaison between the R&D and business development (BD) teams, ensuring that product innovation aligns with customer needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Working with CTO to define and own NovoLINC's product vision, portfolio strategy, and multi-year product roadmap.
  • Translate customer needs, competitive intelligence, and market into product requirements and development priorities.
  • Identify new product opportunities across AI infrastructure, semiconductor packaging, high-performance computing, power electronics, automotive, and aerospace markets.
  • Establish product positioning, value propositions, and product lifecycle strategies.

Product Development and Commercialization

  • Lead the development and commercialization of NovoLINC's products, including product specifications, product requirements documents, and commercialization plans.
  • Partner with the BD and manufacturing teams to ensure that products meet customer requirements for performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
  • Represent the R&D team and serve as the key liaison between the R&D and BD teams.
  • Drive successful customer qualification programs and product launches.
  • Provide support for customer engagements including customer feedback meetings, customer visits, etc.

Alignment and Support on R&D

  • Work with the CTO and the Director of Product Development to accelerate the commercialization and qualification of existing products.
  • Define clear product success criteria of new product development, manage development schedules and milestones, and review technical progress and identify risks.
  • Provide market analysis and feature prioritization to maximize NovoLINC’s value proposition and competitive advantage.
  • Support and strengthen NovoLINC's intellectual property portfolio through invention, patent development, and technology differentiation.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and competitive products to identify product enhancements, feature gaps, and potential market opportunities.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Coordinate activities among: R&D, Manufacturing, BD, Marketing, Supply Chain, etc.
  • Ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovation-driven culture that promotes technical excellence and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, R&D, applications engineering, or related technical roles in thermal management, advanced materials, semiconductor packaging, or the electronics industry.
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, launching, or commercializing innovative products, preferably in advanced materials or thermal management technologies.
  • Strong technical understanding of thermal interface materials, thermal management, electronic packaging, semiconductor devices, or related technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, business development, and customer teams.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
