We are seeking a medical assistant for a busy family medicine clinic. The medical assistant will join the team to provide nursing care to our patients. A detailed-oriented, dependable, organized person who is able to do multi-tasks and who has demonstrated a consistent history. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :Triage the patient, reviewing the medication list, history and physicals, assisting with the physician's plan of care. They will administer medication, EKGs, assist with office procedures, answer and return phone calls scheduling for tests and procedures. Working with insurance companies, obtaining preauthorizations and making referrals. The office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday; A departmental orientation will be provided based on your experience. Excellent benefit offer with a comparable salary.
