Medical Assistant at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant with Women’s Health experience. We are looking for an MA who demonstrates a great work ethic, dependability, and the ability to work in a team approach. The job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; patient triage, medication reconciliation, phoning in prescriptions, medication administration, documentation on hospital-wide EHR, responding promptly and appropriately to our patient's phone calls, scheduling tests, and assisting in procedures. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00. No weekends or holidays are required. An orientation will be provided based on your experience and level of competency.
