Medical Assistant at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking an MA with clinical experience. A detail-oriented, dependable, organized MA who is able to multitask and has demonstrated a consistent work history will be the candidate chosen for this job! Your responsibilities will include, but limited to: documentation in medical records, responding promptly and appropriately to patient phone calls, ordering tests, precertification, medication reconciliation, phoning in prescription, and medication administration. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm. You will not be required to work weekends and holidays. An orientation will be provided based on experience. An excellent benefit packet will be provided. This applicant must be a high school graduate and must be a graduate from an approved medical assistant program. National certification required.
