Full Time Bookkeeper at Padilla & Company Inc – Albuquerque, New Mexico

We are seeking a friendly and experienced full-time bookkeeper who has an understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles and current practices.

Office hours M-F 8am to 5 pm 1 hour for lunch

Responsibilities:

Data Entry-double entry accounting

Bank reconciliations

Filing Reports GRT, WWT, WKC, 941, 940, DWS, w-2’s and w-3’s

Answering Phones and dealing with clients

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-year experience

Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

Proficiency with computer systems and software, such as Microsoft Office

Must have an understanding of a balance sheet and P&L Statement

Must be able to use a 10-key calculator

Must be willing to take a criminal background check

Must be detail oriented (Accuracy is critical)

Strong organizational skills

Fluency in English is required; additional language skills (Spanish) are a plus
