About the role
MOAT recently joined Full Circle Electronics, and we’re looking for a Senior Accountant to provide direct accounting support to the Tampa leadership team. You’ll report to the CFO as part of a larger finance organization, while serving as the on-site trusted accounting expert for MOAT.

What you’ll own

Close and financial reporting

• Lead the month-end close, including journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyze financial information, build spreadsheet reports and verify their accuracy
• Own reconciliations across bank, credit card, cash disbursement, payroll, customer and intercompany accounts
• Oversee monthly bank reconciliations, including ACH, wire and credit card payments
• Manage fixed assets: monthly depreciation, additions, disposals and amortization schedules
• Prepare cash flow reports and analyze KPIs, bringing trends and recommendations to management

Payables, receivables and inventory

• Oversee weekly check runs and AR collections
• Lead inventory analysis, including cycle counts and physical inventory follow-up

Compliance and audit

• Prepare and file federal, state and local tax forms, and process annual 1099-MISC and 1099-INT
• Serve as the main point of contact for external audits

Business partnership and improvement

• Advise operations and leadership, investigating and resolving accounting issues independently
• Deliver ad hoc analysis that supports management decisions
• Build, maintain and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures as MOAT integrates with FCE
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you bring

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience; industry is flexible
• A self-starter who sees what needs to be done and does it
• Confidence communicating with business leaders and holding your ground on the numbers
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with change during an integration

What we offer:

Base pay of $75,000 to $85,000, depending on experience | Comprehensive Benefits Backage | 401K
