What will you do?
- Serve as a key point of reference for Technologists and support the Technical Manager in setting priorities, removing bottlenecks, and addressing critical issues.
- Set up product recipes, ensuring all required regulations and PLC parameters are correctly applied.
- Perform necessary mechanical and electronic adjustments and monitor production variables to ensure product specifications are met.
- Conduct investigations and troubleshooting to resolve quality issues.
- Train and support production staff in resolving minor technical problems affecting product quality.
- Carry out electromechanical installation and setup of machines and equipment (compressors, air conditioning systems, dryers, leak testers, cameras, palletizers, etc.).
- Develop solutions by fabricating mechanical or other components to address production or technical issues and improve machine performance.
- Support the Technical Manager in continuous improvement projects and in decisions regarding machines, equipment, molds, and processes.
What are we looking for?
- Excellent knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM), with specific experience in Husky injection molding of PET preforms on high-cavitation molds.
- Excellent applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems.
- Good applied knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques.
- Good applied knowledge of WCM standards.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with industry specific technologies and productive processes.
