Job Description
About Plexus
Legal protects 90% of enterprise value. In most organisations, it’s still slow, expensive, and stretched impossibly thin — one lawyer for every 500 employees. Nine out of ten legal tasks go unsupported.
Plexus is the Legal Operating System for the modern enterprise. We help in-house legal teams automate and scale legal work across the business — faster, with less cost, and less risk.
We’re trusted by Coca-Cola, Nike, L’Oréal, PepsiCo, Woolworths, and Asahi. Our clients report 65% productivity gains.
We’re not a law firm. We’re not a traditional software company. We’re building something new — and we’re not done yet.
We care less about your CV and more about how you work. The people who thrive at Plexus share three things:
You get the job done — fast. You deliver outcomes, not activity. You don't wait for perfect information or perfect conditions. You figure it out, you ship it, you move on. If you say you'll do something, it's done.
You're always getting better. You actively seek feedback and act on it. You pick up new tools and ways of working without waiting for a training course. You treat AI and technology as something to master, not avoid. Six months in, you should be noticeably better at your job than the day you started.
You own the outcome. You don't wait for someone to remove blockers — you remove them yourself. You think about what the business needs, not just what your role description says. If something needs doing and you can do it, you do it.What
this role is about
Plexus is scaling its marketing function — and we're looking for someone who wants to be at the centre of it. The foundations are in place: demand gen infrastructure, a content engine, and a webinar franchise that's already converting. Now we need someone who can take what's working, improve it, and build what's missing.
This is a hands-on role with real breadth. You'll work across channels, get close to the numbers, and use AI as a genuine force multiplier — not a novelty. The scope is wide, the autonomy is high, and the opportunity to grow with the function is significant.
What you'll be working on
- Demand generation & pipeline. Campaigns that drive qualified pipeline — not vanity metrics. You'll work across paid, organic, email, social, and webinars to build and optimise programmes tied to revenue.
- AI-enabled marketing. AI is core infrastructure here, not a side experiment. You'll build and improve workflows across content production, campaign management, reporting, and optimisation — creating leverage a traditional marketer can't match.
- Content. Blog, video, social, sales enablement. Help maintain and improve the production cadence — consistent, on-brand, commercially anchored.
- Funnel & conversion. Lead scoring, nurture sequences, segmentation, and handoff to sales. You'll dig into the data and find ways to improve conversion at every stage.
- Reporting & attribution. Channel ROI, cost per MQL, conversion rates. Help make the numbers visible, trusted, and actionable.
- Experimentation. Hypotheses, structured tests, documented learnings. Test over guess. Iterate fast.
Who we're looking for
- Experience working in B2B SaaS, tech, or professional services marketing — although we care about trajectory, not tenure. Someone who's touched multiple channels, owned outcomes (not just tasks), and progressed faster than their peers. Ready for a role that stretches them.
- AI native. Non-negotiable. You're already using AI tools daily — for content, campaigns, analysis, automation. Self-initiated, not employer-directed. You haven't just heard of AI in marketing. You've fundamentally changed how you work because of it.
- Commercially minded. You understand what marketing is actually for: pipeline and revenue. Comfortable with numbers and anchoring every programme in commercial outcomes.
- Technically fluent. HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, GA4 — the specific stack matters less than your ability to get hands-on in any tool without needing someone to show you how.
- High agency. You move quickly, ship often, and don't wait for permission.
What you won't find here
- A playbook someone else wrote for you to follow
- A world where "I didn't know how" is an acceptable answer when Google, Claude, and curiosity exist
- A culture that rewards presence over output
What you will find
- Real breadth and autonomy. You'll work across the full marketing mix with room to shape how things are done.
- AI embedded in everything. We don't talk about AI transformation — we live it. You'll work with tools and workflows most marketers won't touch for years.
- Proximity to leadership. Small team, flat structure. Your work is visible and your voice matters.
- A growth path that's earned, not waited for. As the function scales, so does the opportunity. Results and initiative open doors here — fast.
- World-class clients. Your work drives pipeline for a product trusted by some of the most recognised brands on the planet.
Our values: These aren't wall art. They're how we hire, fire, promote, and make decisions.
Positive Intent — Assume the best. Foster trust.
I Am My Word — If you commit, you deliver.
Everyone Wins — Mutually beneficial outcomes for clients, colleagues, and the company.
Be an Owner — Take initiative. Act with intelligent autonomy.
The Best Version of Ourselves — Continuous growth. Challenge yourself and others.
How to know this is you
You've automated something nobody asked you to automate — and it worked. You've shipped a campaign that moved a number, not just filled a calendar. You've used AI to produce in a week what used to take a month. You've looked at a marketing function and thought, I'd do this completely differently.
You're not watching the future happen. You're building it.
