Position: Home Health Biller This NOT A REMOTE POSITION!!! YOU MUST BE ABLE TO BE IN OFFICE

We are actively seeking an experienced Home Health Biller who is highly proficient in Medicare and Medicaid billing, for Virgina/District of Columbia/Maryland, particularly in Virginia. Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately prepare and submit clean claims to Insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and other payers
• Follow up on unpaid claims, handle denials, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Post all remittances for Medicare/Medicaid/Insurance payments
• Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and coding standards
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure complete and accurate billing information
• Generate and analyze billing reports; present findings and suggest process improvements
• Assist with rate negotiations and maintain balanced billing documentation

Qualifications:
• Proven experience billing experience (required)
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid billing and EMR systems
• In-depth knowledge of home health billing codes and healthcare reimbursement practices
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
